WHAT IS LA FLEX?
ABOUT LA FLEX
LA FLEX (Local Authority Eligibility Flexibility) is the extension of the UK government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme that helps UK households reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint by allowing them to access free heating upgrades.
As the qualifying criteria is defined by your Local Authority, this has allowed local councils to extend the criteria beyond household income and benefits received.
As a result, LA FLEX has meant that more homeowners are able to get access to free heating upgrades in their home.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?
To qualify via LA FLEX we must have a relationship with the council your property sits within and that you meet one of the following routes:
- Route 1: Household income must be below £31,000 gross.
- Route 2: If someone in the household suffers from a health conditions such as Arthritis, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Angina or similar heart conditions etc.
