Can I Get Free Heating Grants If I’m Receiving Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

At Honest, we're often asked 'Is there a Disability Living Allowance (DLA) heating grant?

Sadly at this time there are no grants specific to this benefit, and DLA is no longer directly listed as a qualifying benefit under the schemes such as ECO4 either.

However, individuals receiving DLA may still qualify for free funding if they meet other criteria set by the many schemes available.

Schemes such as the already mentioned ECO4 Scheme, along with LA FLEX and the Great British Insulation Scheme all have different eligibility criteria - so it's 100% worth checking to see if you could qualify for free funding in another way.
