Schemes such as LA FLEX are backed by the UK government, and those who are eligible are able to claim thousands of pounds in free funding to upgrade the heating systems in their homes.
Why is the funding free?
LA FLEX (Local Authority Eligibility Flexibility) is an extension of the government's ECO4 scheme that helps UK households reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint by allowing them to access free heating upgrades.
And there's no catch. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you're able to access the scheme.
But the question you may be asking is 'Am I able to access funding through LA FLEX?'
To qualify via LA FLEX we must have a relationship with the council your property sits within and that you meet one of the following routes:
- Route 1: Household income must be below £31,000 gross.
- Route 2: If someone in the household suffers from a health conditions such as Arthritis, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Angina or similar heart conditions etc.
